Oral presentations will be held according to the programme of the conference, which will be available at www.ids2010.de in the first week of September and handed out in printed form on-site.
For each oral presentation a time slot of 20 min. is scheduled, i.e. 15 min. lecture plus 5 min. discussion. Speakers are requested to keep these times in order to enable participants to change from one oral session to another and to enable discussion. The chairpersons will observe keeping time conditions, stringently. Please note that 15 min. correspond to a maximum of 15 slides, which should not be overloaded. Speakers are kindly requested to define and present the problems, methods, results and conclusions in a precise manner.
A laptop (Office Version 2007) will be available in every auditorium. Speakers are encouraged to use these facilities, but they may also use their own laptop. A multiple VGA connector hub (4 ports) will be available.
Oral presentations are to be uploaded and checked not later then during the coffee break or lunch break prior to the respective session. For this purpose technical personnel will be present in the rooms, which will assist if necessary. Presentations, which are not uploaded prior to the session, will have to be removed from the programme. Room specifications for the sessions will be given in the conference programme. Authors, who will give the presentation, are requested to contact the chairpersons of their session during the breaks, who will be present in the rooms during break prior to the relevant session, too.
Keynote lectures are scheduled to a total of 40 min. each, i.e. 30 min. lecture plus 10 min. discussion. These presentations are to be uploaded in the morning prior to the respective session.
