Travel support for young scientists

The New Jersey Center for Biomaterials, Piscataway, kindly offers travel scholarships to PhD-students.

To assist young scientists at presenting the results of their research at the 5th International Conference on Combinatorial and High-Throughput Materials Science in Seeon, a limited number of travel support awards is offered. In addition, the winners will be invited to a private dinner event.

The following conditions have to be met by the applicants:

• The applicant is a PhD-student
• The applicant has already registered
• The applicant has submitted a poster abstract for presentation
• The applicant has returned the application form to the conference office before the deadline (31.08.2008) together with

• proof of student status
• his / her CV
• Description of his / her present and future research interests
• Estimated travel costs
  

Failure to meet these conditions will result in rejection of the application.

An independent committee will chose the award recipients.
