| Bruchsal |
Bruchsal, a small baroque town in the southwest of Germany, is situated between the plain
of the river Rhine and the Kraichgau hills that are often looked upon as the "German Toscana".
These days Bruchsal and its districts have more than 41.000 inhabitants.
Bruchsal is centered in a famous wine growing area, and one of the most important local
agricultural products is asparagus.
Bruchsal has a reputation as a lovely baroque town, due especially to the castle and
the church of St. Peter, built by Balthaser Neumann.
The conference centre is located in the city centre within walking distance of the shopping
areas and several restaurants.
We look forward to an exciting meeting in this stimulating environment, and invite you to
make this even more successfull than the 2002 conference.
