Sightseeing tour of Speyer
This guided tour includes the sights, the Cathedral Treasury and a special centenary tour of the “Gedächtniskirche” (Memorial Church).
After a tour of the historical old town an experienced guide will take you round the Cathedral Treasury in Speyer’s History Museum. Over 100 years ago Protestants from all over the world built this church in memory of the beginning of Protestantism at the Speyer Parliament in 1529. The Memorial Church was conceived as a mother church for all Protestant Christians. The foundation stone was laid on 24 August 1883. Today this is the only intact neo-gothic church in Germany. The stained-glass windows, which document the concept and the history of Protestantism, and the organ are particularly worth visiting. The proceeds from the tours contribute towards the restoration of the Gedächtniskirche.

The tour will start and end at the Bürgerzentrum Bruchsal. Lunch is not included
in the tour ticket.

Poster Session
Visit the posters and talk to the exhibitors and to your colleagues with a glass of beer in your hand. All participants are invited to the poster session which will take place in the foyer of the lecture hall among the poster walls and exhibition stands allowing active discussion.

Conference Dinner
Enjoy a typical Badish evening at the baroque castle of Bruchsal where traditional Badish food and wines will be served.
The fee covers an apéritif followed by a regional buffet with wine of the region. As seating capacity is limited, please order early to avoid disappointments!
