Marksburg Castle (July 8)

On Thursday, July 8, 2004 we make an excursion to the most important Marksburg Castle.

It is the only hill castle on the Rhine that has never been destroyed. It has been lived in for over 700

years and thus represents an ever-changing and developing building complex that has been growing

into its present shape over the centuries.

WineTasting (July 8)

After the guided tour of Marksburg Castle there will be an optional

visit to a wine cellar for a wine tasting of various wines from the Rhine region.
