Get-together
The organizers of the Workshop invite all participants to take part in an informal Get-together in the foyer of the lecture hall, after they have contacted the congress office for final enrolment.
Drinks will be served by invitation of the organizers.

Visit of the Speicherstadtmuseum (Dockland Museum)
Coffee, Tea and Co.

A “hands-on” museum! Grippers, bales of rubber, coffee-sacks, sampling implements: The Speicherstadtmuseum is located on two floors of a red-brick warehouse that is over a hundred years old (in the authentic surroundings of the dockland warehouse district in the former free-port) where typical goods and tools collected from traditional warehouse companies and business premises of the warehouse district are exhibited. Historical photos and maps/plans illustrate (the social and economic) changes of over a century in this worldwide unique historical monument.
Further topics are: coffee- and tea-trading as well as lighter-boating (supplying the warehouses with goods by transport on (cargo) barges). The engaging and interactive exhibition emphasises the skills and ingenuity of the work of warehousemen.

Poster Party
The posters will be on display throughout the whole Workshop from Sunday evening to Wednesday. In addition all participants are invited to a poster party which will take place in the foyer of the lecture hall in between poster walls allowing active discussions. Beer and snacks will be served by invitation of the organizers.

Conference Dinner
The conference dinner will take place on board of the windjammer “ Rickmer Rickmers ” located at the famous “Landungsbrücken” in Hamburg St. Pauli. The windjammer was constructed in Bremerhaven in 1896; after an adventurous and dangerous journey across the world she returned to Hamburg in 1983. Enjoy the atmosphere at a hot/cold buffet with German specialities and wines.

Cost per person: EUR 45.00 (including buffet, drinks, VAT)
