General Information

CONFERENCE OFFICE
The conference office at the Evangelische Akademie will be open from 5 November, 2007 at 17.00h and during the whole symposium.

ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS
Accommodation at the Evangelische Akademie is only possible for the whole duration of the symposium.
The costs of accommodation and full board at the Evangelische Akademie from 5 to 7 November 2007 are e 250 (incl. 19% VAT).
All rooms are equipped with shower, toilet and telephone.

As the number of rooms is limited, some participants will be booked into hotels in the vicinity of the Evangelische Akademie (single room rates approx. e 60 to e 90 per night incl.breakfast). In this case, the participants will pay accommodation and breakfast in the hotel. All other meals can be obtained at the Evangelische Akademie for e 80 (incl. 19% VAT).

CONFERENCE DINNER AT MONASTERY ANDECHS
The Andechs Monastery is located on the Holy Mountain above the eastern shore of Lake Ammersee in the middle of Upper Bavaria’s Five-Lakes Region. For more than half a millennium it has been a popular destination for pilgrims. Andechs Monastery – with its brewery, monastery restaurant, and not least its art treasures and the historical building of the “Fürstentrakt” – is a much sought after meeting place, attracting visitors from around the world. We kindly invite you to join this evening excursion on Tuesday, 6 November 2007. Take time to enjoy this visit and relax in an informal setting with friends and colleagues. A Bavarian buffet and a beer tasting will round off an unforgettable evening. A bus transfer from the Evangelische Akademie and back will be provided. Departure by bus from Schloss Tutzing: 18:15 h Return to Schloss Tutzing: 23:45 h.

EXCURSION
Excursion to Roche Diagnostics GmbH, Penzberg

The final highlight of the symposium will be the visit to Roche Biotech site in Penzberg. Roche will present state-of-the-art science and technology in development and production of biologicals. For this excursion special registration will be necessary. A bus transfer from the Evangelische Akademie to the Penzberg site will be provided. After the site visit the bus will take you to main station Munich (no transfer back to the Evangelische Akademie, Tutzing !). Departure by bus from Schloss Tutzing: 13:30 h, end of Roche visit and bus transfer to main station Munich: 16:45 h, approx. arrival at main station Munich: 18.30 h.

Participants should therefore take whatever steps they consider necessary to insure their belongings.
