September 6-8, 2010 in Bologna/Italy REVIEW

In 2010, the EFB Section on Biochemical Engineering Science (ESBES), the ISPPP Board and the DECHEMA Working Group on Biothermodynamics join forces - with the first summit of their three well-established symposia on bioengineering, separation and biothermodynamics:
The idea of this threefold summit is to bring together the scientific communities in these fields at the same time and in one place, to foster communication, cooperation, and cross-disciplinary exchange of ideas. The excellent conference programme with interesting workshops, high-level lectures and poster contributions provides a unique platform for scientists from industry and academia to discover new science, technologies, processes and applications. Our intention of supporting young scientists is reflected by the Poster Awards and the Malcolm Lilly Award.
