"Chemical Biology in Europe: research across disciplines and countries"

The lecture program of this year's meeting presents again a good overview of ongoing research projects from German laboratories as collected through the call for abstracts this summer. The poster exhibition will be at the centre of the meeting and the venue for intense discussions. We hope you feel encouraged to submit a poster contribution via file upload by 19 November 2008 , at the latest. The Scientific Committee will invite the authors of selected posters to present their results in short lectures.
This year´s special topic „Chemical Biology in Europe: research across disciplines and countries“ highlights the recent decision of ESFRI (European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures), a special commission of the European countries, to place a German proposal EU_OPENSCREEN onto their roadmap of vital new large-scale research infrastructures to be implemented. The decision will be officially announced on the 9th of December at the ECRI2008 conference in Versailles, France. Three keynote speakers from European countries were invited to intensify international exchange.
