Ionic media are an exciting and growing field of science with tremendous progress being made in the last years in both industry and academia. This success also stems from intense interaction between the fields of molten salt and ionic liquid research facilitated through the biannual EUCHEM conference series.
After the successful conference in 2008 in Copenhagen, the EUCHEM Conference on Molten Salts and Ionic Liquids 2010 will again offer the opportunity for scientists to discuss latest developments in their ionic media research. The scientific topics will include fundamental and theoretical aspects, physico-chemical properties and mechanistic studies as well as all kind of application driven and applied research.
The scientific programme will consist of two plenary lectures, nine keynote lectures, 40 oral contributions and two consecutive posters sessions. The poster presentations will form an integral part of the discussion following the successful experience of the previous meetings.
Of course - beside the scientific programme - you will have time to meet colleagues during our social events: the opening cerenomy
on Sunday evening, the excursion to Bamberg´s beautiful sights on Wednesday afternoon and the conference dinner on Thursday evening.
We would like to invite scientists working in all fields of ionic media to an inspiring five-day spring conference in Bamberg, Germany.
Bamberg is a very nice medieval town and an UNESCO world heritage located 50 km north of Nuremberg.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in Bamberg.
The organisers convey their sincere thanks to:
