Poster Exhibition / Poster Prizes

The poster presentation of latest results is an important facet of the scientific programme. The posters will be presented and numbered according to the poster programme.

The poster programme is splitted into 2 sessions.


Poster Session A

Posters of session A are to be mounted until Monday, 6 June 2011, 9:00 and to be removed at the end of this poster party. The poster party A will take place on Monday, 6 June 2011 from 17:20 to 19:00. The opportunities to present the posters are during the breaks on Monday and the poster party A.

Poster Session B
Posters of session B are to be mounted until Tuesday, 7 June 2011, 9:00. The poster discussion B will take place directly after the Lunch break on Tuesday from 14:00 to 15:00. The opportunities to present the posters are during the breaks on Tuesday and the poster discussion B.

Poster Prizes

The best posters will be awarded prizes, to be conferred at the closing session.

Oral Presentation - Preparation

The time for the oral presentation is 20 minutes including 5 minutes for discussion. Strict timekeeping will be essential for the smooth running of the conference. The lecture has to be presented in English.

A data projector and a notebook will be available (MS- Office-Version 2010, Acrobat Reader (Version 9.3) and PowerPoint Viewer 2007). Please bring your presentation on an USB stick or on a CD ROM.

In case you have special technical requirements regarding your presentation (e.g. a video, or using Apple Software) please use your own laptop and make sure that the display screen is adjusted to 1024x768 (XGA) pixel for screen resolution and give us information in case your laptop has only DVI access.

 Proceedings: Special Issue of Microporous and Mesoporous Materials

 

You are invited to submit a full manuscript for publication in the IX COPS Conference Proceedings Volume of 'Microporous and Mesoporous Materials', to be published within one year after the conference by Elsevier. The special issue is included in the regular tickets of the conference and will be mailed to all regular delegates.

The manuscripts should be submitted via the EES Elsevier Editorial System between 1 March 2011 to 23 May 2011 at http://ees.elsevier.com/micmat/

The usual author instructions of Elsevier are viable. When you submit your manuscript please go to "Choose Article Type" on the first page of the form and indicate "Porous Solids IX".

 

 

 

The manuscripts will be evaluated in a peer review process.
