General Information about G?ttingen
Public transport in G?ttingen
You can buy a reduced ticket for public transport which gives you free transfer on all municipal buses throughout town, reduced admission to Municipal Museum, G?ttingen's theatres, Badeparadies Eiswiese (in- and outdoor swinning pools), exhibitions held at the Old Town Hall, etc.

By plane:
You can either fly to Frankfurt/Main, Hanover or Berlin
Travel time by train:
From Frankfurt/Main Airport to G?ttingen: approx. 2 hours
From Hanover Airport to G?ttingen: approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
From Berlin Airport to G?ttingen: approx. 3 hours
By train:
G?ttingen is serviced by the ICE high-speed-trains:

The conference will take place in the "Zentrales H?rsaalgeb?ude" (ZHG/Central lecture hall), about 10 minutes walk from the railway station (see map).
Taxis are available at both exits of the railway station.
By car:
G?ttingen is serviced by the A7 motorway (Autobahn), the principal north-south route in Germany. Leave the A7 at exit 73 (Ausfahrt G?ttingen/Dransfeld -> turn right into "Kasseler Landstra?e") or exit 72 (Ausfahrt G?ttingen Nord) (see map).
Parking:
Close to the central lecture hall there is a public parking. There is also a multi-storey car park within walking distance. Further information can be found at http://www.mobile-goettingen.de.
Local buses:
The central lecture hall can be reached by a number of buses. The bus stops located near the central lecture hall are:

Exhibition
The conference will be accompainied by an exhibition to demonstrate recent developments of miniaturisation for chemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnological applications. Industrial companies, research institutes and universities will have the possibility of presenting their latest results, products and manufacturing equipment.
